He must have an approval letter and approved job, then he must apply for visa at an embassy.

Unfortunately all schools are closed, so applying as teacher is not something I believe is possible.

I am Chin. I have a friend who lives in U.S and his fiance is in Cambodia. After his first trip Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» for his engagement, he wanted to go back to work there and get married to his fiance, but he could not find a job; he is a white American who can teach English or do other jobs. They both miss each other so much. Is there any way he can get a work permit somewhere?

You can request a 1, 3 or 6 month EG visa extension, price goes up for longer ones. You can definitely leave for a few days and come back and get another one, but I don’t know how many times you can do it. I know many people have been successful doing it 2 or 3 times, but I haven’t heard of anyone doing it more than that. Freelancers can get a work permit and EB visa, although they sometimes have to register themselves as a business. It’s not too complicated.

This site has helped me out so many times when visiting Cambodia in the past. The last time I went was in 2017, and I wasn’t aware of the new regulations on extending ordinary visas. My wife and I were hoping to move Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» after all this Corona virus stuff blows over.

My question is about EG visa extensions. You say EG visas can last 1, 3, or 6 months. Is that totally random or can we choose six months and just pay more? And if so, could we do “visa”runs? For example could we get an ordinary visa on arrival, upgrade it to a 6 month EG visa after a month, then go to Thailand for a few days after our 6 months is up and return Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» to repeat the process? My wife and I are freelancers but there seems to be a great deal of uncertainty as far as people like us obtaining an EB visa.

Sorry to trouble you but my wife and I are living in China at the moment and we don’t have a VPN. We can’t access facebook and getting good information on the subject is proving very difficult.
