My hernia repair from April 2014 is tearing out and I will need to have it fixed. I am retired and living in Siem Reap with no health insurance.

$1,200 for a simple hernia surgery
in Cambodia?.. is that without insurance?..
you can get that kind of surgery in Philippines/Malaysia/Indonesia
for around $500 total-or sometimes
even less-even without insurance there.
I had my teeth cleaned and a tooth fixed
for less than $20 dollars without insurance and without appointment
in the Philippines!!..
Somebody had a stomach surgery
and he only paid $60 dollars there
after the insurance deduction.
I also had eyes checked at 2 different
places/doctors in the Philippines,
and guess what the cost was for the check- ups?.. Zero!.. not so in Cambodia?..
how about Thailand or Vietnam?..
or any other place?..
