I decided to go to Maloop, one of my favorite places in Phnom Penh to eat and to have Saturday brunch.

I know Maloop doesn’t serve brunch after 11:00, but although I arrived before that time, I was refused brunch because according to the waiter, “they were expecting a large group.” Despite the tables being set for “the large group,” no one had arrived.

Not a good way to treat any guest.So perhaps the waiter needs training.
