Good Luck. Just make sure she is a good woman. That will not turn her back to you. Many are miserable here because of this.
Is good idea, but make sure she will always be by your side.

If you do not already have it, both you and your parents are eligible for Cambodian citizenship which would allow you to own land in Cambodia without any of the issues that non-citizens have to deal with.

My dad is about to retire and we want to see our options because we have plenty of families back home and land in Battambong. I am doing the research for him. My grandpa has land in the village that no one is living in as well but my family back home rather stay in the city. My dad wants to spend most of his retirement in Cambodia but he would still have to go back and forth to Canada to keep his citizenship. He’s not interested in looking for a condo, he wants to build a brand new home with land and start farming like he did when he was a little boy. Are we not able to own land from what I was reading?
