air flights to Sihanoukville can only increase the “upper middle class” of visitors and give the gov another cause to build bigger high rises and more casinos. The “ideal” of this ancient paradise is slowly dying and the push is on to build, build and build more unsustainable Apartment Blocks and cement beaches

Hi Lina- thank you so much for your wonderful and informative website!! I am travelling �鶹��ýӳ�� solo in December/ January. Would you say Otres is safe for a lone female traveller and where would you recommend staying? I wouldn’t want a hotel or a seedy hostel, as rustic as possible whilst still being relatively social and safe! Many thanks Zoe
