Is Otres the most laid back beach at Sihanoukville ?
Thanks.

The “ideal” of this ancient paradise is slowly dying and the push is on to build, build and build more unsustainable Apartment Blocks and cement beaches

You’re in luck! Cassie, who wrote this blog post, just did another on the best (not seedy) hostels to stay on Otres: /sihanoukville/best-backpacker-hostels-otres-sihanoukville/

I am travelling Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» solo in December/ January. Would you say Otres is safe for a lone female traveller and where would you recommend staying? I wouldn’t want a hotel or a seedy hostel, as rustic as possible whilst still being relatively social and safe! Many thanks Zoe
